ADAM Garcia is an actor, singer and dancer whose performance in Coyote Ugly cemented him as a Hollywood heartthrob.

Who is Adam Garcia?

Adam Garcia was born in New South Wales, Australia, on June 1, 1973.

He left a science degree at university to perform in the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle, which toured Australia before transferring to London, launching Adam's West End career.

His first movie role came in 1997 in Wilde, and a scene in which he oozed sex appeal while dancing on the bar during 2000 hit Coyote Ugly cemented his heartthrob status.

When starring in the stage version of Saturday Night Fever in 1998, Adam's cover of "Night Fever" earned him a top 20 UK hit.

His performance in that show earned the 45-year-old the first of two Olivier Award nominations, the second coming for Kiss Me, Kate in 2013.

In March 2015, Adam married his British girlfriend Nathalia Chubin, who previously worked in a senior marketing role for PlayStation before founding an agency finding freelance consultancy work for parents.

The couple, who met when Adam was working in the UK, welcomed their daughter Arya Storm in August that year.

What shows and films has Adam Garcia been in?

His breakthrough role in Coyote Ugly opened up the world of movies to Adam.

He went on to appear in American comedies Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Standing Still, as well as Nativity 3: Dude, Where's My Donkey? in 2014.

On TV, he has carved out a niche as the judge on a series of dancing shows, most notably Sky One show Got to Dance and the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars.

As well as Saturday Night Fever and Kiss Me, Kate, Adam's theatre credits include Singin' In The Rain, a West End production of The Exorcist and Wicked.
