Frank Skinner reveals Room 101 is being axed 24 years after its launch
But the comedian is apparently unfazed by the news, saying 'who the f*** cares'?
FRANK Skinner has confirmed that Room 101 is set to be AXED 24 years after it first launched.
Comedian Frank, who has hosted the BBC show since 2012, was said to have discovered it is being dropped from the box several weeks ago.
But THE 61-year-old - estimated to be worth £11 million - was quoted in the saying: "Who the f*** cares?"
According to the newspaper, Frank added: "Room 101 is dead. But I'm alright fiscally.
"I've done seven series'. I don't feel that I have been washed up on the shores of stand up."
The Sun Online has contacted the BBC for comment.
The current format of Room 101 sees three celebrity faces go head-to-head in an attempt to bin their biggest pet hates in 'Room 101'.
It first hit screens in 1994 and was presented by Nick Hancock until 1999.
The original format, however, saw a showbiz guest discussing their annoyances and bugbears in a one-to-one interview.
Paul Merton took over the helm from Nick until 2007, when the programme went off air.
