TOM Jones' estranged son has made a desperate plea to finally meet his dad after the singer's health scare scare this week.

Homeless busker Jonathan Berkery, 30, has made a public appeal in an attempt to finally make peace with the superstar.

Jonathan, who lives in New Jersey, has never met the Sexbomb crooner even after DNA tests proved Tom was his father.

After the Welsh legend was admitted to hospital this week battling a bacterial infection, Jonathan is now determined to finally meet the dad.

He told the : "He’s not well... I want to see my dad and make my peace with him.

"When I was younger, I was angry and confused. I didn’t want to see him. But now I worry about him constantly."

Jonathan went on to explain that he thought he might finally get the chance to get to know Tom after his wife Linda passed away in 2016.

However, it didn't happen and Jonathan is now worried he may miss his chance.

He added: "I just want to see my father before it is too late."

Jonathan insisted he doesn't want anything from his dad apart to just sit and talk.

He is believed to have been conceived when Tom had a brief fling with his mother, former model Katherine Berkery.

Tom's paternity was later confirmed with DNA tests and he was ordered to pay maintenance for his son.

Tom cancelled four gigs this week after he was admitted to hospital suffering from a bacterial infection.

He has apologised to fans and a statement released online revealed the music veteran's condition is being "well managed" and he has been advised to rest.

The singer is said to be in "good spirits" and is determined to be back on stage soon.
