Keith Lemon hits out at Lawless London after moped thugs attempted to mug him for his watch
KEITH Lemon has revealed a moped thief tried to mug him for his watch yesterday.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online about the terrifying ordeal, the star, real name Leigh Francis, said: “I’m OK. It was just a bit weird. I didn’t realise what was going on.
He continued: "These guys rode by the side of us and grabbed my arm. I was like ‘what’s going on?!’ He couldn’t get my watch off cos he had biker gloves on.
"At least I got my arm back! Luckily I don’t wear bling. Note to self – be more aware. Gonna start wearing a sun dial on my wrist.
"I was a wee bit tipsy so me and Melvin (Odoom) just laughed about it."
Keith also tweeted about it, telling fans: “Cheers to @Melvinodoom for the lift home . So crazy that some moped scum bag tried to steel my gold look Casio watch off my wrist.”
He added that the joke was on them because his watch isn’t pricey, saying: “Ding bats I hope they fall off and hurt their bodies. Wrong dude I’m not jay z. I don’t have no naughty watch.”
A gold Casio watch usually costs around £40 and fortunately Keith managed to hold onto his.
The popular Celeb Juice host’s fans and friends rushed to check he was alright after the scary ordeal.
Olly Murs told him: “Hope your ok mate! Bloody F***ing scumbags.”
A fan added: “Evil scumbags. Who the hell do they think they are ...? Glad they got nought and you’re ok! Big up the good guy Melvin for seeing you home safely! We all gotta look after each other nowadays!”
This comes just a month after comedian Michael McIntyre was the victim of a smash-and-grab armed robbery while he was sat in his car alongside his youngest son.
Michael - who has two sons, Lucas, 13, and Oscar, 10, with his wife Kitty - had his £15,000 Rolex watch torn off his wrist in the attack.
And just a few days ago Corrie star Sally Ann Matthews' son was targeted by a "vile" moped gang who tried to steal his bike.

The actress blasted the attack as "shocking" but was pleased he was "fine" after the incident, which ended when a nearby Tube station guard interrupted the would-be muggers, who drove off.
She said: "A group of youths approached my son outside a train station and demanded his bike from him. It’s shocking and vile.
"He was fine, thankfully, and managed to get help from the train staff."
