Liam Gallagher begs brother Noel to get Oasis back together as he finally forgives him
The 45-year-old rocker has been vocal in his criticism of Noel and his wife Sara on social media in recent months
LIAM Gallagher has urged brother Noel to reunite Oasis after ‘forgiving’ his sibling following their decade long feud.
The rocker, 45, sent fans into a spin tonight with his attempt to bury the hatchet via Twitter, albeit by taking a dig at his brother’s band.
Writing on Twitter, he said: “Earth to noel listen up rkid I hear your doing gigs where people can’t drink alcohol now that’s the BeZarist thing you’ve done yet I forgive you now let’s get the BIG O back together and stop f***ing about the drinks are on me LG x.”
Hours later, he said that he hadn’t heard from his brother, adding “I’ll take that as a no then”.
It comes just days after Liam accused Noel of “cursing” the England football team during a foul-mouthed rant.
He hit out at his “miserable” 51-year-old sibling following England’s defeat against Croatia in the World Cup semi-final.
Earlier in the tournament, Noel had sworn at fans who had chanted “it’s coming home” during a gig in Scarborough.
The England team were due to take on Sweden in the quarter-final but Noel shot back: “Seriously though, it f***ing so isn’t”.
He was met with a chorus of boos.
Liam told his fanbase that he believed Noel was to blame for the team not making it through to the final against France.
Taking to Twitter, he raged: “For all those plastics who said it wasn’t coming home they should be ashamed of them selves as you were LGx [sic].
“He wasn’t right they wasn’t right they put a curse on it it they should be shot.”
Appearing to speak directly of his brother, he added: “The thought of going to the misserble little f*****’s gig and having to sit down listen to his bread heads and being I told you so ewwwww.”
He then seemed to reference Noel’s Scottish wife Sara MacDonald, adding: “I bet his mrs is happy f***ing turn coat.”
Last Christmas, the brothers’ infamous feud appeared to come to a halt when Liam tweeted: “I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG.
“It’s been a great year, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
But a source later dismissed the apparent olive branch, saying: “Liam’s on a wind-up. There’s no sign of making up.”
Weeks later, Liam reignited the feud by branding Noel’s new album, Who Built The Moon, “s***”.
Things then seriously went up a gear in March, after he compared Noel and wife Sara to Fred and Rose West.
As a war of words broke out, horrified Sara wrote on Instagram: “Please, God, you have dropped dead by the time my kids are on social media.”
