Celebs Go Dating bosses replace expert Eden Blackman with Oprah Winfrey’s matchmaker Paul Carrick Brunson

OPRAH Winfrey’s matchmaker Paul Carrick Brunson will replace Eden Blackman on Celebs Go Dating as an expert, the Sun’s Bizarre column can reveal.

The husband and father of two is a relationship coach and known as the “love doctor”.

He will step in for Eden who quit the E4 show earlier this year and joins Nadia Essex and junior client co-ordinator Tom Read-Wilson.

Paul has written best-selling book It's Complicated (But It Doesn't Have to Be): A Modern Guide to Finding and Keeping Love and appeared as a co-host on Oprah’s show Lovetown, USA.

She has previously said: “Paul is much more than a matchmaker, he’s a life coach.”

He has also appeared on US shows Oprah Winfrey Network, Good Morning America, The TODAY Show and The Wendy Williams Show.

It comes after Tom insisted he would not be replacing Eden.

He told the Scott McGlynn Podcast: “I couldn’t. My only experience is I’m a serial dater. I couldn’t sit there and give advice because I’d be a fraud.”

In March The Sun Online revealed he was leaving Celebs Go Dating after four series to focus on his new app and music agency.

He had fallen out with colleague Nadia leaving show bosses worried their frosty relationship could jeopardise its future.

Eden said: "Today I informed the team that I won’t be returning to my role at Celebs Go Dating if and when the show comes back for Series five.
