Who is Dan Snow?

Born December 3, 1979, Daniel Robert Snow is a British television presenter from Westminster, London.

The 40-year-old is the youngest son on BBC journalist Peter Snow, and Canadian Ann MacMillan, meaning Dan holds dual citizenship.

His famous relatives don't end there as one of his father's cousins is Channel 4 reporter Jon Snow and he is also the great-great-grandson of former Prime Minister David Lloyd George.

Dan followed his father's alma mater to Oxford University where he graduated with a double first in history and rowed three times in the prestigious Boat Race against Cambridge.

When is Dig WW2 with Dan Snow on TV?

The first episode of Dig WW2 with Dan Snow will air on BBC Two at 8pm on Monday, May 18.

The second episode will air at the same time on Tuesday the 19 while episode three will be shown on Wednesday, May 20.

What TV shows has Dan Snow presented?

Shortly after leaving university, Dan presented his first programme in October 2002, co-presenting the BBC's 60th anniversary special on the Battles of El Alamein alongside his father Peter.

The two then collaborated again on the BAFTA award-winning eight-part documentary series Battlefield Britain and since then, Dan has presented numerous history programmes for the BBC.

In 2008, he explored the role of his paternal great-grandfather General Sir Thomas D'Oyly Snow in My Family At War and has also released the award-winning Timeline series of apps.

Dan most recently presented the BBC Two three-part series 1066: A Year to Conquer England and he currently has a history slot on The One Show.

Who's his wife Lady Edwina Grosvenor and does he have children?

In November 2010, Dan married Lady Edwina Grosvenor in Liverpool with the ceremony conducted by then Bishop of Liverpool, James Jones.

Edwina is the second daughter of the late 6th Duke of Westminster.

They have three children together, two daughters and one son.

Their daughter Zia was born in 2011, and their son Wolf Robert in 2014, before their second daughter Orla was born a year later.
