What did Donald Trump say during his Piers Morgan interview in Davos?

The pair discussed a wide range of topics when they met in January 2018, including Meghan Markle, the EU and ISIS.

They also spoke about Trump’s Britain First retweets, with a preview clip from the interview revealing the President told Piers: “Here’s what’s fair, if you’re telling me they’re horrible people, horrible racist people, I would certainly apologise if you would like me to do that.

“I know nothing about them. I don’t want to be involved with [these] people, but you’re telling me about these people because I know nothing about these people.”

In another segment of the sitdown chat, Mr Trump said he does not think of himself as a feminist – because he is not solely supportive of women but of all people.

“No I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist,” Mr Trump said.

“That would be, maybe, going to0 far. I’m for women. I’m for men. I’m for everyone. I think people have to go out… and they have to win.

“And women are doing great, and I’m happy about that.”

Discussing the issue of Britain’s departure from the European Union, Mr Trump said he would have taken a different approach to Brexit to Mrs May.

“Would it be the way I negotiate? No, I wouldn’t negotiate it the way it’s being negotiated,” he said.
