The Corrie cobbles dealt with a shocking kidnap storyline
CORONATION Street fans have been left on the edge of their seats when a kidnap storyline gripped the cobbles.
But what happened? And when was it on TV? Here's what we know...
An explosive Coronation Street trailer showed grieving Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) kidnap baby Susie after a screaming row with Eva Price over custody.
The new mum was left heartbroken when she realised the tot had gone missing from the Rovers Return.
Eva, played by departing Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley, was horrified when she realised the tot had disappeared and at first thought Toyah Battersby, who wanted Susie for herself, could have snatched her.
But Toyah’s innocence was soon proven and Eva’s suspicions turned to Johnny.
While Eva called in the police, Johnny was holed up in a hotel with baby Susie.
Johnny is now convinced the solution is to move to Spain with the tot - but fans are hoping Liz will convince him not to.
Johnny battles Eva for custody of Susie since finding out she’s his tragic son Aidan’s baby.
But could the new kidnap plot throw this into jeopardy?
Coronation Street fans slammed Johnny after he vowed to take Susie away from mum Eva Price.
The plot unfolded from July 16, 2018.
Corrie airs on Monday, Weds and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
