ONE DIRECTION star Zayn Malik's younger sister Waliyha has landed a modelling job promoting travel cards for a West Yorkshire bus company.
The 19-year-old, who is described as an 'Instagirl' with over 730,000 followers by the firms publicity shots, is the new face of the Metro 19-25 card.
As one of the driving forces behind the Metro campaign, the Bradford beauty has been spotted using the campaign tag line 'I'm everything with my MCard' on her social media.
And for those that may doubt this job is far from glamorous, Waliyha ensured her followers that she was using her MCard by indulging in some retail therapy at Bradford's Broadway shopping centre.
She told her followers that by using her MCard, which allows unlimited travel for a monthly fee, she has been able to go 'makeup shopping' and 'pick up some of her fave products' for the MAC makeup store.
MCard drove the campaign on to social media on June 23 using a selfie-style photo of a smiling Waliyha, sending Instagram traffic her way by tagging her in the snap.
Dedicated to her new modelling cause, the brunette has even altered her description on the social media site so it contains only a link to the MCard page.
The promotion is also backed by fellow local Instagram influencers Apollo Ewellyn, a model and pageant queen, and Jamie Sowden, a food and travel blogger.
Waliyha, who appeared in One Direction's music video for Story of My Life in 2013, still lives at home in Bradford with her sisters Safaa, 15, Doniya, 27, and mum Trisha, 48.
The family opened their own beauty salon last year, called Waliyha Beauty, with the help of eldest daughter Doniya who is a professional makeup artist and beauty blogger Waliyha.
Could this be a big break for Waliyha, whose singing brother Zayn also broke out into fame as a teenager? We shall have to wait and see what direction this modelling job takes her ...
