LOVE Island viewers raged at Muggy Megan Barton Hanson tonight after she snubbed dumped Alex Miller and didn't even hug him goodbye.

She was saved from the axe as Wes Nelson chose to couple up with her and she walked away from current partner Alex without even a backwards glance.

Megan, 24, was left on the verge of going home as she and Alex were one of the couples who received the least amount of votes from the public.

The villa's singletons, Georgia Steel  and Wes, were left to pick a partner to stay.

Georgia chose Sam and Wes picked Megan.

Megan didn't even turn to comfort Alex as she strode away without giving him a goodbye hug.

She then gave Wes a kiss and walked off with him, leaving viewers flabbergasted.

They flocked to Twitter to brand her a "villain" for the way she treated Alex just hours after declaring her feelings for him.

One wrote: "Megan not even saying goodbye to Alex ascends her to a new level of delicious villainess #loveisland."

Another added: "Did Megan not even hug New Alex goodbye before walking straight to Wes..

"Wow she can actually get worse."

One more tweeted: "Megan walking away from Alex when Wes said her name, without even glancing back let alone hugging and saying goodbye, wow how’s ur real connection doing."

The glamour girl, 24, has earned the nickname Muggy Megan for her bad girl behaviour in the show - stealing Wes from Laura and then ditching him for Alex.

She now swaying back towards Wes again despite still being with Alex and he tried to get to the bottom of their doomed romance in tonight's show.

He sat her down for a chat and Megan insisted she's still into him - despite previously admitting her feelings for Wes.

However, she tried to make out like she hasn't done anything wrong and hilarious told him: "I'm not a muggy person."
