Love Island bosses criticised for ‘unnecessary’ stunt that brought Dani Dyer to tears

LOVE Island bosses faced a backlash tonight as viewers accused them of emotional abuse after Dani Dyer was shown a clip of boyfriend Jack Fincham’s reaction to his ex entering Casa Amor.

Dani and Jack have been living separately for four days with no contact and in the knowledge that new sexy singletons are living with them.

The girls were shown footage from the other villa, and Dani watched as Jack repeatedly said “oh my god” while holding his head in his hands.

His revelation that his ex, Ellie Jones, had arrived sent Dani into floods of tears as she feared the worst for their relationship.

Little does she know that Jack has been 100 per cent faithful and struggled being apart from her.

Tonight he even spoke of how much he loved her, but Dani was not shown it.

Viewers called the clip “unnecessary” and questioned the need for it.

They wrote on Twitter: “F***ing fuming with the #LoveIsland producers for showing Dani the footage of Jack’s ex walking in but not him sleeping outside by himself. All for ratings, no compassion for her feelings when he’s been a good boy.

Tomorrow night there will be a recoupling with the contestant from the original villa deciding if they want to stick in their couples or go for one of the newbies.
