CORRIE star Jennie McAlpine's cafe is struggling with £425k debts, according to reports.
The actress, 34, who plays Fiz Brown, launched tearoom Annie's hoping it was the start of a nationwide franchise.
But despite rave reviews on TripAdvisor, Jennie's business is struggling with debt.
Accounts filed to Companies House reveal the Manchester cafe has debts of £428,658.
In the soap, factory worker Fiz frequently visits Roy's Rolls cafe.
She runs her real life tearoom with husband Chris Farr. The pair have son Albert, three.
Jennie as Fiz in the Rovers on Coronation StreetA source told the : "Jennie and Chris are hoping to trade their way back into profit but the margins are tight in the restaurant world and it is hard-going.
"It has always been the plan to open more than one restaurant but just getting this one firing on all cylinders financially is proving tough."
The tearoom serves traditional English food - including the hotpot made famous by Betty at the Rover's Return.
