Love Island fans turn on Dr Alex George and slam him for ‘nasty’ rant as Ellie Brown dumps him
LOVE Island viewers have turned on Dr Alex George after he vowed to explode at Ellie Brown when she realised there was no chemistry between them.
The medic has had the support of the nation up until tonight's episode when it became obvious that he and Ellie, who had coupled up just three days ago, didn't have any lasting chemistry together.

But as Ellie fretted about how to tell Alex, she grew distance from him and he was raging about it and viewers were not impressed.
One tweeted: "Alex wants to be a victim so bad😩If u ain't got it, u ain't got it. Can't force it hun #LoveIsland"
Another asked: "Why is Alex acting like a spoiled brat? The girl doesn't like you. SIMPLE. #LoveIsland"
A third said: "I loved Alex at the beginning but my god surely he should be happy Ellie isn’t faking it? He’d be complaining then too to be fair #loveisland"

In tonight's episode Ellie tells Alex that she found it “awkward” getting into bed with him for the first time on Friday and says she’s ending their fling as they have no sexual chemistry.
She says: “I’m very nervous about this conversation. The recoupling for me wasn’t about us having conversation because I’ve been here for over a week, it’s very obvious that we can hold a conversation.

“To me it was about doing couple things like getting into bed at night, and having a date together and the first night that we got into the bed after the recoupling it was very awkward for me.
“I don’t think there’s any sexual chemistry between us. I’m sitting here now ending something with somebody who I know has got a kind heart, I know is genuine and it hasn’t been an easy thing for me to do, so yeah.”
Ellie's awkward behaviour doesn't go unnoticed by Alex who begins to questions what he has done wrong during their time getting to know each other.
He asks himself: "Have I offended her? Have I done something? For me it’s more the thing of why? Why did you recouple? It was literally recoupling done, effort zero. Bit suspicious.”
After being warned by former partner Samira Mighty of Ellie's intentions, Alex wonders whether he has been too trusting of her feelings towards him.
He adds: "I’ve made all of the effort. I’ve never said a bad word against her or about her. I just wondered if her heart was ever in it at all.”

Alex doesn't appear satisfied with Ellie's confession and challenges her about whether she was ever genuine or if she was just playing games.
Before sitting down with Ellie, Alex tells his fellow islanders that he feels she has behaved rudely towards him and he would never treat someone else in the same way.
Alex's heartbreak comes after he was already knocked back by Megan Barton Hanson and has struggled to make a connection with any of females in the villa.
