Love Island’s Jack Fincham melts viewers’ hearts after he asks Dani Dyer to be his girlfriend
LOVE Island viewers fell even deeper in love with Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer tonight after he asked her to be his girlfriend.
The pen salesman had been desperate to make things official with Dani and, after plucking up the courage to ask her out, he's got what he wanted.
Ecstatic Dani said in the Beach Hut: "I can't believe it. I'm actually in shock. I've got a boyfriend. Whoopydo!
"I hope my dad's happy. We'll still go for sushi because jack don't like it. My dad’s got my first place in my heart. And Jack can have the second."
While Jack admitted he could cry he was so happy.
Viewers were equally as thrilled, writing on Twitter: "My heart bursts with happiness for Jack and Dani 😢😢❤💏 #LoveIsland.
"jack and dani have had my heart from the beginning ! I love them #loveisland.
"Right can jack and dani get married now pls #loveisland."
Discussing his feelings towards Dani following the latest recoupling, Jack said: “You mean more to me now.
"Before I knew I really liked you, but this time it’s different. I told you, I’ve really got feelings for you.
"Honestly, I meant it. I mean it. I really do feel like it’s the start of something with us two. Yeah, I do.”
The conversation quickly moved onto family, with Jack broaching the subject of Dani’s parents and how they will react to him.
Jack said: “It’s weird how I’ve got to this stage where I’m even thinking about wanting to meet your mum and dad and making a good impression. You are their daughter and I want them to like me because I’ll be spending loads of time with you. So I want them to go ‘he’s alright’.”
Reassuring him, daddy’s girl Dani said: “I definitely think they’ll like you, there’s no reason to not like you, is there?”
Following the conversation Jack tells the boys that he is planning on asking her to be his girlfriend.
He told Adam and Eyal: “Basically I wanted to speak to you two because I’ll be honest with you, I really feel like I want Dani to be my girlfriend. I do. I just feel like I’ve got to that stage now where I do want to leave here with her.
“I feel like I want that to happen. But sometimes when you put a label on it, it can ruin things can’t it? That’s what I’m worried about.”
