Suki Waterhouse breaks into music world after secretly recording a song with rock band The Wombats
The band's lead guitarist says the song will be released soon and that Suki's voice was 'really cool'
SHE’S a catwalk queen and Hollywood actress and now Suki Waterhouse is about to become a triple threat.
I can reveal the supermodel wants to conquer the charts after recording a song with rockers The Wombats.
Lead guitarist Matthew Murphy confirmed they have a track set for release this year.
In an exclusive interview, he said: “I wrote a song with Suki in LA. It was a good, fun evening.
“Her voice is really cool. She’s busy so I’m not sure what the plan is. Hopefully it will be one for release soon.
“I can’t tell you the name of the song yet as we keep changing it.”
Matthew admitted he had no idea who Suki was before their session. During a chat backstage at the Isle of Wight Festival, he added: “We met because she did a film with a mutual friend. I had no idea who Suki was but I thought her voice was amazing, so I did an evening with her and a producer in LA.”
Suki has given music a shot before. She quietly released the song Brutally in 2016.
And although she has since returned to movies, with roles in Detective Pikachu and Woody Allen's A Rainy Day In New York, she recently revealed she is eager to juggle a variety of careers.
Suki said: “I was never comfortable just doing one thing.
"I’m always yearning for change. It makes you live in a constant state of anxiety, but I love it.”
Perhaps she will be in the England squad by 2022.

Blooms is about to bloom
BLOSSOMS are planning to branch out into telly with a sitcom.
The indie band from Stockport have met Phill Mealey, one of the geniuses behind The Royle Family, to get pointers.
Singer Tom Ogden said: “We had a meeting with Phil about a sitcom. It’s about us going around Stockport doing normal s***, like me getting on the bus and stuff.
"We’re hoping Netflix or the BBC pick it up. I reckon it will be out next year. I think there’s a market for it.”
Just one little problem, though . . . “We need to write it first.”
Isle of Wight Festival 2016
SHE is supporting Taylor Swift on tour while also doing her own shows, so Camila Cabello must be knackered.
But she looks on top form here from Sunday’s performance at the Isle of Wight Festival following two nights opening for the Shake It Off singer at Wembley Stadium.
And she has more work in the pipeline as her Taylor tour-mate Charli XCX revealed they are planning to make music together during the global jaunt.
Charli said: “My dream is to rent a studio and do a bit of writing.
"Me and Camila have talked about that and we’ve got time. We’ll make it happen.
“I really love her, her energy and her whole vibe. She’s so sweet and cool.”
Gaga's chic gift - £75K gold guitar
LADY Gaga should be churning out platinum-selling hits now she has a gold-encrusted guitar – a gift from Nile Rodgers.
In an exclusive chat backstage before Chic's set at the Festival on Friday, Nile said: “I sent her a $100,000 (£75,400) guitar with 3,000 gold Swarovski crystals and gold leaf. It’s unbelievable. We have twin guitars – hers is gold and mine is silver.”
The pair did a David Bowie tribute at the 2016 Grammys then they worked together on a tune that is expected to appear on Chic’s new album, It’s About Time – the band’s first record in 25 years, which is due out on September 7.
I can’t wait.
