The comic, who was pictured looking noticeably slimmer at a party in London's Soho last week says his svelte frame is down to a new diet and exercise.
He told The Mirror: “Well, it’s eating broccoli and not much else. I’ve also been running a lot. It has worked.”
Lenny had first began to shed weight back in 2014 when he revealed he was a "little bit diabetic".
The comic was speaking at the bash in Soho House for a screening of Unsung Heroines: The Lost World of Female Composers.
Later this year, he'll be returning to our screens later this year with his new TV show It’s Alive.
Each week Lenny will be joined by celebrity guests for the studio-based show, which also features funny sketches and songs.
Announcing his comeback exclusively to The Sun, a TV insider revealed: “Sir Lenny may be known these days as an actor in hard-hitting dramas and Shakespearean plays, but he’ll always be a comedian at heart.
“ITV wants to bring Lenny back to his comic roots in It’s Alive — and from ideas he’s mooted for it with producers, it’s going to have viewers in fits of laughter.
