JAMES Corden has been offered an £8million two-year TV deal.

The contract to continue hosting smash US series The Late Late Show, would make him the highest paid British telly star abroad.

His initial five-year deal — believed to be worth £10million — expires in 2020.

Bosses at CBS are desperate to keep him following the global success of show segments including Carpool Karaoke.

James said: “I’m not sure when I am coming home now — that is still up for discussion. We are in negotiations.”

A studio source said: “The feeling is that James deserves a significant pay hike.”
