Victoria Beckham will dress up as Posh Spice for a photoshoot with British Vogue
The shoot will mark the tenth anniversary of Posh’s clothing label
VICTORIA Beckham will slip back into her Buffalo boots for one final time – thanks to new Vogue editor Edward Enniful.
Last week we told you the Spice Girls’ reunion was off, with the fashionista at the centre of a huge rift.
But now we can reveal Victoria will still pay homage to her girlband past in a tongue-in-cheek video for the fashion house. She has decided to embrace some of her most iconic looks immortalised in Spice Girls history during the shoot next month.
The outfits are likely to include the black catsuit she wore in the video for 1996 hit Say You’ll Be There, and the chainmail bikini sported for Who Do You Think You Are the same year.
It is a very impressive coup for the British Vogue boss, as Edward has managed to achieve what Victoria’s former bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Mel B and Geri Horner have repeatedly failed to over the past few years.
A source said: “This has been the brainchild of Edward and it’s quite the backtrack from Victoria — and no doubt her ex-bandmates will be very insulted by this. It seems fine for Victoria to celebrate her Spice Girls past when it suits her but not when the other girls are begging her to perform onstage with them for one final time.”
It is understood the video will tie in with the Beckham family’s first interview and shoot for Vogue, which will mark the tenth anniversary of Posh’s clothing label.
Victoria and David continue to put on a united front amid split rumours. The dress-up session comes less than a year after Victoria — who now runs her own high-end fashion house — slated many of her old pop outfits as “inappropriate”.

When discussing her worst looks in another interview, she added: “At some point, I thought it was OK to wear a PVC catsuit.”
The premise of the new video is believed to be a celebration of Victoria’s fashion highs over the past 22 years.
As well as the Spice Girls, the shoot is likely to pay tribute to Brand Becks, her Vera Wang wedding dress and even her brief foray as a solo artist when she teamed up with Dane Bowers.
Fingers crossed the infamous Out Of Your Mind lip-ring and bandana get a special nod.
