Tom Daley has joined husband Dustin Lance Black in Los Angeles as he awaits arrival of their first child


TOM DALEY is taking a break from his diving day job – to prepare for something even harder than flinging yourself from a ten-metre platform.

The Olympian has joined husband Dustin Lance Black by relocating to Los Angeles as they prepare for the arrival of their first baby.

The couple made the move as their surrogate mother is based in the US and is due to give birth within days.

They are on standby to meet their new arrival for the first time.

It’s a poignant time for Tom, who paid tribute on Instagram on Father’s Day to his dad Robert, who passed away from cancer in 2011 aged 40.

Now, at just 24, Tom’s about to become a dad himself.
