Rita Ora channels 50s movie icon Marilyn Monroe in floaty skirt in New York

The singer posed over the updraft of an NYC subway grating – just like the actress did in her famous scene in 1955

SHE’S not quite Marilyn Monroe, but Rita Ora can do a pretty good impression of the blonde bombshell.

The pop star channelled the Fifties movie icon in New York while showing off this floaty silver skirt on the weekend.

She just about managed to keep her dignity as she posed over the updraft of an NYC subway grating – just like Marilyn did in her famous scene from the film The Seven Year Itch in 1955.

Rita also wore her hair in vintage style waves which added to her striking resemblance to the Hollywood legend.

Sharing a snap of her new look on Instagram, the singer, who is dating musician Andrew Watt, said: “Blondes have more fun!”
