The music stars enjoyed a rare night out in New York
MARIAH Carey showed off her incredible body in a see-through dress as she partied with her friends Usher and Jermaine Dupri at a bash in New York.
Mimi pulled out the stops to look fantastic at the Songwriters Hall of Fame's 49th Annual Induction and Awards to honour her collaborator Jermaine.
Mariah showed off her famous curves in a skintight glittering gown at the event last night before heading to the afterparty at GoldBar in New York.
The singer was hanging out with big names at the bash, including her friend Usher.
Mimi and the Yeah! hitmaker looked like they were having a ball as they laughed together and posed holding cigars.
During the induction ceremony, Mariah, 48, made a emotional speech in honour of her songwriter pal Jermaine.
The superstar said: "Jermaine does this out of... actual love of music...
"[He] hasn't changed since that first time in the studio together, [he's] still the same person..
"He's still got the passion inside him."
Mariah worked with him on Grammy winning hit We Belong Together and Don't Forget About Us.
They even collaborated on her earlier tracks including Always Be My Baby.
Other major names in attendance at the ceremony included Steven Tyler, Fantasia Barrino, The Weeknd and Kool & The Gang.
Mariah recently opened up abut her brave battle with bipolar disorder.
She was diagnosed in 2001 when she was treated in hospital for a physical and mental breakdown.
She said: “I didn’t want to believe it. Until recently I lived in denial and isolation, in constant fear someone would expose me.
“It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that any more.
“I sought and received treatment. I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music.”
