Did Daz Spencer kidnap Amelia in Emmerdale, when did his daughter go missing and who else is a suspect?

AFTER Amelia Spencer goes missing in Emmerdale, emotions run high - and everyone in the village is under suspicion for her kidnapping.
However, there's one particular man in the frame for abducting her - her biological dad Daz. But did he take her? Let's get the lowdown on Emmerdale's latest storyline...
Did Daz kidnap Amelia Spencer in Emmerdale and when did she go missing?
After it was revealed Daz is actually Amelia's biological father, she mysteriously disappears from her room.
Dan Spencer - who previously believed he was Amelia's real dad - and his partner Kerry are convinced Daz knows something about the missing girl.
As their suspicions grow, Dan confronts Daz and the pair end up fighting.
Daz is then questioned by police about her disappearance, fuelling their fears that Daz is behind Amelia’s disappearance.
At the police station, the investigating officers bring up new evidence that links Daz to Amelia’s abduction.
But Kerry and Dan are furious when the police let Daz go without charge and continue to accuse him of abducting Amelia.
Dan becomes more frustrated when DS Benton tells him there are no leads on Amelia’s whereabouts and he’s absolutely devastated when Benton admits things might be much more serious than they initially thought.
Mark Jordon - who plays Dan - recently spoke to The Sun Online about the storyline, warning there are some dark and difficult scenes to come.
Mark said: “It definitely turns dark and there are some really upsetting scenes to come...
"There's a lot [of talk] about Daz kidnapping her, since he has been pushed out of the village from his brother.
“It may be one of numerous things but I think that whatever has set it off - it might be the surprise later that everybody else will invest in.
"It's not what it seems."
And Liam Fox, who plays Dan, dropped a heavy hint that his on-screen brother had a part to play.
He told Lorraine:
He said: "There's always something going on with Daz.
"He's always been a bit of a wrong 'un and Dan and Daz are always up and down, mates then not mates.
"Dan knows something is going on but doesn't know quite what, he knows Daz better than anybody."

Who else is suspected?
While the police are yet to name any other suspects, Emmerdale fans have their own suspicions about Amelia after a shifty looking Leanna Cavanagh made a call to the appeal helpline.
The teen - who is the daughter of the village GP Dr Liam Cavanagh - acted strange after receiving a flyer about the missing teen from Bob Hope and made a call on her mobile to the helpline trying to find Amelia.
With a glint in her eye, she said: “Hello? Yes, it’s about Amelia.
“Do I have any information? Well that depends whether or not there’s a reward.”
While viewers will have to wait and see what Leanna does and doesn't know, it was recently revealed Amelia's disappearance will take a frightening twist.
Did Beth kidnap Amelia?
One of the reasons for the kidnap could very well be that Beth believes Amelia's biological dad Daz Spencer murdered her father.
The shocking revelation comes after a determined Daz, played by Mark Jordon in the ITV soap, vows to bring Amelia home to prove his innocence to his brother.
Dan, Dan’s partner Kerry Wyatt and Daz’s ex Bernice Blackstock all believe Daz is behind Amelia’ abduction.
Even though he hasn’t been able to get the ransom money together, Daz heads off to meet with Amelia’s kidnapper anyway, armed with a spanner he steals from the garage.
But when Beth spots that Daz is armed, she flees back to the house where she’s been keeping an oblivious Amelia hostage.
Later Beth gets a shock when Amelia sneaks out and as she charges after her she ends up blurting out the horrible truth about Daz – that he killed her father.
Amelia is horrified and when Daz spots both girls and urges Amelia to come to him, she’s torn when Beth screams at her to run.
