When did she star alongside Zac Efron?

In 2012 Taylor starred in the romantic drama The Lucky One opposite heartthrob Zac Efron.

Despite their “amazing chemistry” in the film’s sex scenes, Taylor insists the pair were never an item.

Unfortunately, the film got mainly negative reviews with critics calling it too full of “schmaltzy cliches”.

Still, it managed to pull in an impressive $99 million at the box office, which is impressive considering the bad reviews people gave the romantic flick.

What else has Taylor Schilling been in?

Before landing her big break on Netflix, Taylor had accumulated an impressive number of credentials in film and television.

For example, in 2009 she landed a recurring role playing Nurse Veronica Callahan in Mercy, a drama which only lasted for a year but still gave her enough exposure to land further opportunities in Hollywood.

After 22 episodes on the show, Taylor got herself another huge part in 2012’s Argo, starring alongside superstar Ben Affleck, who also directed the film.

Starring in Argo, and playing the character of Christine Mendez, was exactly what Taylor needed to solidify her position as an established actress – especially because this film went on to win THREE Oscars while scooping up another 94 wins during awards season.

Her first feature film, however, came in 2007 in Meryl Streep’s Dark Matter. But despite its A-list cast, the movie didn’t do so well at the box office, accumulating no more than $70,000.

Following her success on Orange Is The New Black, Taylor has starred in a number of movies including Take Me, The Public, The Overnight, The Titan and The Public.
