John recently waded in on the bizarre 'Sandy is dead' fan theory from the Grease movie.

John starred as Danny opposite Olivia Newton-John as sandy.

Fans speculated that Sandy had drowned to death at the beginning of the movie and that the rest was just a coma fantasy.

John said: "I love it, imaginations are awesome. These things are bound to happen to something timeless like this. It's so fun."
