Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams marry in Scotland two months before welcoming first child
Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have tied the knot at the reality star’s family estate in Scotland.
The pregnant 32-year-old model said “I do” at the 10,000 acre Glen Affric estate in Cannich surrounded by friends and family.
According to reports Spencer’s brother James was his best man, while James’ brother-in-law James Middleton gave a reading at the intimate bash, which took place just 15 miles from Loch Ness.
magazine, who will have the first pictures of the wedding, have revealed that Vogue wore a V neck wedding dress designed by Irish designer Paul Costello.
Former Made In Chelsea star Spencer, 28, is thought to have worn a navy morning suit by Tony Lutwyche.
Following the romantic service they dined on a Scottish menu, which was of course in keeping with the settings.
Their wedding cake was a locally made three-tier sponge, with fresh raspberries, vanilla cream and buttercream frosting.
The couple were seen arriving at an airfield just a few days before as they flew up to Scotland for the big day.
Amongst those accompanying the happy couple at the airfield was the bride’s brother Frederick and sister Amber.
The pair started dating around March 2017 and became engaged on February 1, 2018, during a production of the Lion King in London.
Spencer romantically got down on one knee and proposed live on stage to Vogue.
On March 18, 2018, the couple revealed they were expecting their first child.
They are due to welcome their baby in September and they’ve already decided that they will name the tiny tot – believed to be a boy – Stanley, although they’re keeping the reason close to their chests.
A source told The Sun: “The couple are keeping the reasons for choosing Stanley very close to their chests but decided pretty quickly that this was the perfect name for their first-born.”
The pair have also decided to pay tribute to Spencer’s late brother Michael – who died in 1999 at the age of 22 when he tried to become the youngest Brit to climb Mount Everest – by giving their baby his moniker as one of his two middle names.
The baby’s other middle name will be Freddie after Vogue’s father, who passed away in 2010 from a stroke at the age of 68 during an operation to remove an aneurysm.
