Katie Price’s dying mum Amy reveals she’s written notes to her grandchilden to open after her death

KATIE Price's terminally ill mum Amy has revealed she's written notes to her family about her death.

The 64-year-old talked about her battle with a rare lung disease on Loose Women today, but her daughter Katie didn't make an appearance alongside her.

The glamour model had to be escorted out of the studio when she broke down over her mum's illness on the show in December.

Speaking today, Amy said Katie has taken it the hardest out of everyone - and revealed that she has written letters for her family to read when she has died.

Amy told the Loose Women panel: "Katie will be the figurehead of the family when I go.

"She's quite soft really. Out of all my children she's taken it the hardest.

"But I think she's accepted it now and we support each other.

"I've written letters to them all.

"I'll have to leave Kate instructions."

Amy was diagnosed with idopathic pulmonary fibrosis last year, admitting she only has two or three years left to live.

But she has refused to give up on living life exactly how she wants to - and even came straight to Loose Women from a spinning class.

She said: "I'm feeling quite well at the moment, I'm better breathing-wise.

"It hasn't impacted on my life yet.

"I still do everything I want to.

"When you've got a lung condition like mine you've got to keep moving and keep strong.

"You've got to exercise your legs properly so you can get up off a chair and if you don't exercise your arms you won't be able to brush hair or teeth.

"You've got to look after yourself."

But Amy today revealed that her determination to stay healthy has actually stopped her from getting a lung transplant.

She said: "I went for tests to have a transplant, but I'm too fit to have one.

"If they see me deteriorate I will go back for tests and then they have to make a decision about whether I am put on the list of now.

"Because the tests are so vigorous they found a blockage in my heart, but they've sorted that now.

"The NHS has been brilliant to me."
