LOVE Island viewers have branded Adam Collard the new Muggy Mike after he kissed Kendall Rae-Knight moments after stealing her from Niall Aslam.

The 22-year-old was given 24 hours to get to know the females before choosing who he wanted to steal and couple up with.

Having decided Kendall, 26, was the woman for him, Adam wasted no time in getting close to her over a romantic candlelit dinner date away from the other Islanders.

The cheeky Geordie went straight in for the kill, asking Kendall if she wanted to share a bed and when she said she wasn't sure, he switched tack and asked if he could give her a kiss instead.

Kendall obliged and the pair were soon leaning in for the first smooch of the series.

Adam also explained in the Beach Hut why he had chosen Kendall, saying: "It's a game, and I know what I want and get what I want and I wanted Kendall."

But viewers were not impressed by his actions, and quickly compared him to last year's lothario, 'Muggy' Mike Thalassitis.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Adam is moving like muggy mike" while another added: "ADAM IS THIS YEARS MUGGY MIKE".

A third agreed, tweeting: "Adam [equals] Muggy mike 2.0" and a fourth shared: "Muggy mike had an upgrade it's now muggy Adam."

Others viewed Adam as a bit of a snake, writing: "Am I the only one who thinks Adam is a creep and a snake?"
