Love Island’s Rosie Williams vows not to have sex on show in hopes to return to solicitor career
The Welsh beauty says she will "behave" during her time in the villa and won't have sex on TV
LOVE Island stunner Rosie Williams has vowed not to have sex on TV as she hopes to return to her career as a solicitor when the series is over.
The Welsh beauty, 26, nicknamed Legally Brunette, insists she will “behave” during her time in the Majorcan villa as she aims to keep her private life behind closed doors.
But Rosie, who says she has been single for the last five years after focusing on her career, reveals she also has a “wild side” and was first inspired to study law by watching TV series Ally McBeal and Hollywood blockbuster Legally Blonde.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, she said: “Kissing people is quite natural thing to do so I won’t mind doing that on TV. That wouldn’t be frowned upon.

“But personally I won’t have sex on TV. It is a very private and personal thing. If someone else wants to do it then that is completely their choice but mine wouldn’t be.
“It isn’t just my career but my family too – I’m very aware that they will be watching. My private life is not something I want to share with the world.”
Rosie, who entered the villa last night alongside new islander Georgia Steel, 23, says she hopes to change the public’s perception of lawyers – as according to her the job is a lot more “glamorous” than people may think.
She added: “I am definitely not serious all the time. There is a stereotype when it comes to solicitors and not everyone is the same. There is a lot more than just law books and sitting behind a desk.
“My friends and colleagues call me Legally Brunette – basically they say the way I act and the way I dress I am Legally Blonde but I have dark hair.
“I definitely have a wild side; I go out with my girls and travel – but nothing that could ever get me into trouble with the law. I am sensible but I am fun as well as safe.”
Rosie quit her legal job to join the Love Island line-up – and didn’t bother telling her former law firm she had handed in her notice to appear on the dating show.
The first time her bosses see her again will be as she walks into the villa wearing a bikini but Rosie is still hoping she will have their support.
She said: “I haven’t told my work – they don’t actually know. I kept it to myself and said that I was moving back home to Wales so they are all going to have a shock.
“Hopefully they will all be backing me; there were amazing people in my law firm. Some days can be really hard and you need people around to make it fun.”
The show’s got superb figures
LOVE Island’s return drew an ITV2 record 3.4 million viewers.
That was 2½ times more than the 2017 series opener and 500,000 more than saw its finale.
It was the most watched show in the 9pm slot on Monday. It beat BBC1’s Suffragettes and ITV’s The Queen’s Coronation in Colour.
