How long does Love Island run for?

This year's series is going to be the longest yet with an epic eight-week run, with the fourth series lasting a full week longer than in 2017 and two weeks longer than series one and two.

The Love Island final date has officially been confirmed as Monday, July 30.

It's no wonder bosses have decided to extend this year's run when Love Island 2017 brought in between 1.5 and 2 million viewers with each episode of the show.

Each week the viewer numbers climbed and at one point, a whopping 2.4 million viewers were watching the July 4 episode, which saw three couples have sex.
