Anastacia says she kept in touch with ‘everyone’ from Strictly Come Dancing – EXCEPT partner Brendan Cole
It comes after Brendan's shock departure from the hit BBC ballroom show
ANASTACIA claims she remains in touch with "everyone" from her stint on Strictly Come Dancing - except her show partner Brendan Cole.
The I'm Outta Love singer reportedly fell out with the former Strictly pro after his intense rehearsals caused her to rip her mastectomy scars.
Anastacia told the : "We don't have that kind of connection. It was just for the show.
";But I speak to pretty much everyone else."
She added that the 2016 contestants were "all completely connected" and will have a reunion hosted by Ed Balls.
The singer also revealed that the group WhatsApp chat is still going strong with pictures of Ore Oduba's newborn baby dominating the conversation.
Anastacia went on to explain why the contestants bonded more with each other than their professional dance partners.
She mused: "We took the journey as contestants and we journeyed together.
"Whether people connected with their partners... I think we connected as contestants in a way that may have been different that year."
Brendan has since been axed from Strictly Come Dancing's line-up of professional dancers.
Anastacia commented: "I heard he was upset. I don't really know what happened as I'm not really involved in that sort of situation.
"I heard it was a big to-do. I even heard it over in America."

Speaking of the injury that caused tension between the pair, Anastacia reassured fans: "It's fabulous and back to normal now.
"I didn't lose the boob, and that's all I cared about!"
Anastacia made it to tenth position on 2016's Strictly with Danny Mac, Louise Redknapp and Ore Oduba making it to the final.
