She's the daughter of Judith, a customer-service rep, and truck-driver Bob Collett.
She has two younger brothers, Ben and Christopher.
She was born under the surname "Collett", but added an "e" at the end for her stage name.

Toni's breakthrough movie was Muriel's Wedding, in which she played the title character.
