What was the Poldark scything scene?
In August 2016 Aidan Turner set viewers pulses racing when he went shirtless for that now VERY famous scything scene.
The scene was aired in episode three of season one.
In the scene, Poldark (Aidan) can be seen scything on the Cornish Coast.
Sycthing is a form of reaping crops, and Aidan showed off his toned torso and impressive six pack as he ripped through the long grass.
This particular scene caused a frenzy, with Aidan later revealing to BBC Breakfast that he wanted to "sex up"; scything.
