Who is Niall Aslam?

Niall Aslam is a student and construction worker from Coventry.

Unlike some of his fellow contestants, the 23-year-old had no previous claim to fame.

Niall believed his chat would set him apart, describing himself as "quirky and funny".

And he says he gets noticed for his "chat" rather than his "muscles".

Niall admitted his ex-girlfriend would describe him as “immature and an attention seeker” and wouldn't be pleased to see him on Love Island because it's her favourite show.

What did Niall say before Love Island?

Niall said: “I am going in there and I want to find love.

"I don’t care who a lad is if he is big, better looking, I’m still going in there and I’ll still rock up and try and chat up his missus.”

Niall backed his banter to make up for his serious problem with masticating: "I chew really loudly. I’m like a barnyard animal. It’s really bad."

He also revealed his biggest turn-off are girls who take "themselves seriously and can’t have a laugh".

He said: "Girls these days think you’re trying to chat them up even when you’re not.

"You might just ask the time and they’ll say ‘Sorry I’m not interested.’"

Why did Niall quit Love Island?

On June 12, 2018, it was sensationally revealed that Niall had quit Love Island.

His fellow Islanders were informed he had left the villa, with the announcement:  “For personal reasons, unfortunately, he can’t continue or come back to the Villa.”

After he quit  The Sun Online exclusively revealed how Niall's friends "couldn't get hold of him" after finding out about his shock exit.

One pal, who asked not to be named, told us: “We don't know what's gone on and we haven’t spoken to him so we’re in the dark.”

A source then revealed to The Sun Online that Niall left the Love Island villa for "health reasons".

On June 28, Niall broke his silence and revealed he has Asperger syndrome in an emotional post on his Instagram.

The 23-year-old first coupled up Kendall on the show before getting close to Georgia and was last seen on a date with new-girl Megan.
