Piers Morgan listens to 50 Cent every morning in the shower before GMB
PIERS Morgan has revealed that he listens to 50 Cent's In Da Club every morning before Good Morning Britain to get him in the mood to "chew up politicians".
The TV personality opened up about his love for the rap classic during an interview with Chris Tarrant.
Speaking on the show, he said: "In Da Club by 50 Cent is my rabble rousing song.
"It is the one where I get up in the morning at some ungodly hour like 4.40 or something for GMB.
"It's the thing that I play to get me going."
The surprising revelation comes from Chris Tarrant's new interview series on Love Sport after a nine year absence from radio.
During the hour long interview Piers also revealed that Formidable by Charles Aznavour rekindles the romance with his wife Celia Walden every time he hears it, and that If I Ruled The World by Harry Secombe reminds him that he can do a better job than most world leaders.
He added: "In Da Club is a tub thumping, rabble rousing, rally cry to be in de club.
"I get in the shower and sing it, which my wife's not happy about but the family understand that I need it to chew up politicians."
The GMB presenter has been hosting the show since November 2015 after he proved popular during a guest stint.
ITV's breakfast show contains a mix of celebrity interviews, political grillings and real-life features.
Pier's full interview with Chris Tarrant on Love Sport Radio will air on May 26 from 12pm until 1pm.
