Alex Reid claims ‘malicious’ Katie Price made him feel suicidal after revenge porn court battle
ALEX Reid claims he felt suicidal after allegedly suffering years of "malicious bullying" by his ex-wife Katie Price.
The cage fighter, who married Katie in Las Vegas in February 2010, today revealed he has won an injunction to stop her publishing private pictures of him.
He took the glamour model to court over his revenge porn claims, which he said left him feeling "life would be best without me in it".
Katie, 39, was accused of playing a phone clip of Alex in drag, performing an act with a sex toy to a TV show audience of 40 strangers.
The Loose Women star strongly denied the accusations.
Announcing the injunction against Katie, Alex said: "I don’t consider this a victory as there’s been way too much damage. I hope and pray the abuse stops here!"
He attached a statement on his Instagram page last night, which said: "After many years of being bullied online and throughout the media due to the backlash of Katie Price's malicious antics, of which not only impact me, but my family also, affecting my business and work, I've often thought that life would be best without me in it.
"That was until I found my fiance who has supported me through these bad times and made me have the courage to fight back with the backing of my legal team.
"So I am delighted and relieved I was granted an injunction last Friday at the High Court against Katie Price to stop her publishing private images of me.
"I have suffered the abuse for too long and am deeply saddened by this whole affair, particularly from someone who claims to stand against bullying and injustice.
"I am grateful to the judge who was clearly disgusted by her action, but acknowledged we were not there to discuss morality and said he did not find what Katie said she did at Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side funny.
"This has been a long and stressful campaign for justice which has cost me dear in many ways.";
Alex married Katie Price in Las Vegas in February 2010 after seven months of dating, and just nine months after divorcing Peter.
The pair later had a formal wedding ceremony in the UK, which was filmed for her TV series.
But after just 11 months of marriage the pair split, with Katie saying she married him "too soon".
On February 7, it was claimed police were investigating Katie Price after she allegedly showed a TV studio audience a sex tape featuring Alex.
She allegedly walked around during a break filming Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, playing a clip of Reid in a corset and fishnets.
Katie furiously denied the accusations and accused Alex of publicity-seeking.
The mum-of-five - who spent her 40th birthday partying in Bruges with Z list reality star Kris Boyson - wrote on social media before the court case came to a close: "I take online bullying and revenge porn seriously. My family have been subjected to such and I have been the victim of revenge porn.
"I would not do it to someone else.
"It is sad that my attempting to push through help for those bullied online is used by someone to suggest that I have behaved in this way or to get publicity for themselves."
