Katie Price’s new man Shane Duffy sent homophobic tweets calling people ‘gayboys’ and ‘puffs’ – as she campaigns against trolls
We reveal vile tweets from the Brighton footballer calling an opposition player a 'gayboy' and a 'puff'
KATIE PRICE has made a name in parliament as a campaigner against online trolling.
But she can’t see what’s been going on under her nose — as her new man has been caught sending a raft of homophobic tweets.
Brighton and Republic of Ireland footballer Shane Duffy branded a member of staff at one of his clubs a “gayboy” and referred to another as “f****t boy”.
I revealed this month that Katie’s most recent ex, Kieran Hayler, had grown suspicious she was in a relationship with defender Shane, with her pink Range Rover being pictured on his driveway.
However, I expect Katie will be horrified by his messages, sent over 2011 and 2012 when he played for Everton.
In one tweet sent to an opposition player on May 22, 2011, he wrote, “Gayboy u out tonite?”, followed by: “Tell him hes a puff and go get his eyebrows waxed the girl.”
In another message he even laid into one of Katie’s best friends, Rylan Clark-Neal, writing: “Seriously rylan get off my screen!!!! I actually hate this man/whatever he is.”
Shane, who has 122,000 followers on Twitter and whose club is in a city with one of the country’s largest LGBT communities, also sent a message to a pal on February 8, 2012, saying: “Don’t be late f****t boy.”
It isn’t the first time Shane has landed himself in hot water due to online comments.
His club asked him to delete a tweet last year commiserating the death of former IRA bomber Martin McGuinness, born in Northern Ireland, like Shane, who became a top politician in the country.
Katie has called for a register of offenders to be set up after her son Harvey became a victim of cyberbullying.
She said: “Trolling is a major problem. I have tried my best to expose people and even had two arrested, but there were no repercussions or penalties.”
I doubt she’ll let Shane get off without at least a few choice words of her own.

Brolly good show Ariana
I WOULD hate to be stuck in a storm with Ariana Grande.
She seemed to be confused about how to use umbrellas as she arrived on top of three of them while opening Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
She belted out her hit single No Tears Left To Cry a year on from the terror attack at her show in Manchester.
Ed Sheeran was the night’s big winner. He scooped six awards including the Top Artist gong but was unable to be at the event at MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas as he is on tour.
Taylor Swift was a surprise guest, attending her first awards in almost two years. She won the Top Female Artist gong, leaving Demi Lovato far from impressed..
Other performers included Icon winner Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Dua Lipa, who performed on a giant flamingo. Why not . . .

- JOHN Legend revealed he and wife Chrissy Teigen had named their newborn son after the jazz icon Miles Davis. Speaking on the red carpet a week after the tot’s birth, he said: “Miles, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis. Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens.”
- HER split from US X Factor girlband Fifth Harmony was messy but Camila Cabello's reunion with her bandmate Normani Kordei couldn’t have been nicer. Camila performed at the event and they hung out backstage at the venue for the first time since the Havana singer quit the group in December 2016. About time, too.
- JANET Jackson backed the Time’s Up movement in her acceptance speech for the Icon Award, while making her first televised performance in nine years. She said: “At long last women have made it clear that we will no longer be controlled, manipulated or abused. I stand with those women and with those men equally outraged.”
- DURING the ceremony The Chainsmokers and singer Halsey took a moment to pay tribute to their friend Avicii, a month after his death was announced. Alex Pall from the electronic duo said: “His passing was a great loss for the music world, and for us. He was an artist who inspired so many and in so many ways.”

Take That's sneak peek at 'Boy' rivals
THE Backstreet Boys are back – and the return of the Nineties group has unsettled Britain’s biggest manband.
The US five-piece are celebrating their 25th anniversary and Take That will mark the same milestone with a tour next year. And I can reveal Gary Barlow and his Take That co-stars went undercover to watch the group at their Las Vegas residency in a bid to suss out the competition.
After the show, Gary and co met the boys backstage – and Take That also confirmed they’ve started recording new tunes for their 2019 Greatest Hits tour.
BSB’s Kevin Richardson said: “Take That were undercover. We hung out – it was nice.
"They told us they’re in the studio, recording. We were just sharing our stories.”
The news comes after BSB unveiled their first new music in five years with single Don’t Go Breaking My Heart on Friday.
Gary will be feeling the pressure . . .
Cara's confession
LOVE Island 2016 winner Cara De La Hodye told Sunday’s Dan’s Dilemmas on talkRADIO that having a baby helped her overcome 11 years of depression.
She said: “There’s someone there that’s more important than me.”

DJ Aoki marriage split
STEVE Aoki must be one of the most eligible bachelors in music – at least if anyone knew about it.
I can reveal the American producer, who was 2017’s fifth highest-earning DJ in the world, with £20.8million, quietly divorced his wife last year.
He separated from Aussie model Tiernan Cowling just two years after they married in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii. The pair had been engaged for five years.
A music source said: “Steve’s touring would put pressure on any relationship.
“He has basically been on a non-stop tour for the past decade, which means he is very rarely at his home in Los Angeles. Their split was amicable and they remain friends but their marriage was too tough to sustain.”
Steve, who collaborated with Louis Tomlinson on Just Hold On in 2016, has said in the past that he found it difficult maintaining his personal life while on the road.
He said: “It’s really hard. It is just how it is. I don’t know, I have been touring at this pace for such a long time. You just roll with it.”
But he is still determined to have children.
The producer admitted: “Yeah that will happen. Not sure when.”
He’ll need to find some time in his schedule first.
James Bay set for No1
AFTER being knocked off No1 by the Arctic Monkeys’ new album, The Greatest Showman soundtrack is back on top in the mid-week charts. If it stays, it will be the 16th week in pole position for the Hugh Jackman film.
James Bay is set for the highest new album entry with Electric Light at No2.
