SANDRA Bullock has been blasted for revealing she’s had a controversial “penis facial”.
The beauty treatment involves a serum, which lists one of the ingredients as a babies’ foreskins, being applied to the skin.
Since her confession, multiple commentators have claimed the foreskins could have been removed without proper medical guidance or supervision.
Sandra, 53, attempted to keep her answer vague when she was asked by US TV star Ellen DeGeneres what she meant by the term “penis facial”.
The Oceans Eight star explained how her beautician was using “an extraction from a piece of skin that came from a young person, far, far away, and they somehow figured out how to extract… ”
But Ellen shot back: “It's foreskin from a Korean baby. That's what it is.”
While some found Sandra’s admission hilarious, many have blasted her for not thinking about the ethical side of the treatment.
Prominent YouTube star and documentary maker Riyadh Khalaf was the first to slam her decision to use the treatment.
He told his followers on Twitter: “Rich woman laughs while she admits using the circumcised foreskins of non-consenting baby boys in facials so that she can look good.
“Can you imagine if she said she used the clitoral hood of baby girls? Would it get the same lol-tastic response?”
He added: “Several studies show physical and psychological damage including PTSD symptoms, sexual dysfunction and unrepairable mutilation of the penis.
“The trivialisation of infant male circumcision is troubling and the misinformation that it’s a ‘useless flap of skin’ is simply wrong.
“It contains thousands of irreparable nerve endings, protects an incredibly delicate part of the body and is the boy’s CHOICE to keep or not.”
This Morning star Dr Ranj Singh also gave his opinion and directed his fans to his website where he’d written a piece discussing the subject of the non-medical circumcision of male infants and young boys.
Since their tweets, many people have blasted Sandra and called her out for having the treatment.
One person tweeted: “I read that Sandra Bullock uses an ingredient made from the discarded foreskins of children in Korea as part of her beauty routine and u wanna tell me that Hollywood's obsession with feminine youth and its forced synonymity with "beauty" is not a sickness???!”
Another commented: “Sandra Bullock recently aired on the Ellen show, proudly taking about penis facials. AKA baby foreskin. Boys suffered pain so she could look nice and she is proud of that. So I give her this and hope she feels shame.”
The Sun Online has contacted Sandra's representatives for comment.
