PIERS Morgan's wife Celia Walden has said she "firmly believes" women should vow to obey their husbands.
The journalist was on today's Good Morning Britain to discuss the Royal Wedding and shocked co-hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway with her unusual views on wedding vows.
Meghan Markle is believed to be avoiding the vow "to obey" when she weds Prince Harry at Windsor Castle tomorrow.
Celia said: "Somebody was saying she's not going to obey because [Princess] Diana said she wasn't going to obey.
“It's gone completely out of fashion to say 'I'm going to obey', for obvious reasons."
Kate then couldn't resist quizzing Celia about her wedding to controversial GMB host Piers.
The couple wed in 2010 and have a daughter Elise, six, together.
Kate said: "Talking of weddings and obedience, what was yours and Piers Morgan's wedding day like?"
Celia quipped: "I guess that's true, I did."
Kate continued: "Did you obey?"
She replied: "I did," as Kate and Ben were left gobsmacked.
Both cried: "You did?!"
Defending her decision Celia said: "I very firmly believe in obeying so yes.
"It was a little bit smaller than this one."

However, Celia recently appeared on Lorraine and was asked if she was the one who was in charge in their marriage.
She replied: “Uhh yes, I think so!
“I think women are always quietly in charge, I just think it’s best to let the men think that they are.”
