She went to school at Prestonwood Christian Academy - a private Baptist school in Plano.
At the age of ten she sang to a crowd of 24,000 people at the American Airlines Center.
She originally planned to attend Southern Methodist University but instead moved to LA to pursue her acting career.

Anne Winters will play Chloe - the new head cheerleader and "It" girl of Liberty High.
She appears regularly as the girlfriend of Bryce - the jock who raped Hannah Baker in the first series.
This was one of the "13 reasons" detailed on the tapes which contributed to Hannah's decision to take her own life.

Anne originally auditioned for the role of Hannah in 13 Reasons Why.
She told , "I auditioned for the main role that Katherine (Langford) got for Hannah.
"And when I read the script at first, I was like “Oh my gosh, I love the show.”
"From the minute I read the first pilot episode years before I loved it and the show is amazing, so of course, I am a fan!
"I think it really sheds a light on a really important topic and it’s real for a lot of kids."
