Roxanne Pallett is latest girl to quit Bear Grylls’ Celebrity Island as mass female walkout continues
BEAR GRYLLS’ Celebrity Island is famed for being tough, but conditions this year have led to a mass walkout by the female contestants.
Love Island’s Montana Brown threw in the towel just days after filming began and now actress Roxanne Pallett and journalist Paris Lees are out too.
The last woman standing is Jo Wood, the ex-wife of Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie, who at 63 is the oldest ever contestant.
Tough Jo has stayed on the uninhabited island off the coast of Panama to see it through with the lads, who include actor Martin Kemp, boxer Anthony Ogogo and Olympic rowing champ James Cracknell.
A production source said: “The show is in crisis as a mass walkout has never happened before.
“Bosses have lost a large chunk of their cast, which include a lot of the younger stars.

“Some of the celebs had just had enough.
“With little food and sleeping outdoors, the challenge was just too much for them.
“Producers have been really impressed with Jo for sticking it out.”
After all those years touring with The Rolling Stones, The Island is probably a breeze for Jo.
