Paul’s wild child character Sol had an eventful time of it in the series.

He spent time in a Young Offenders Institute and went off the rails after his mum died, leading to him being kicked out by Jack Osborne and ending up on the streets.
Since leaving the show in 2001, Paul has been better known for his wild partying and colourful love life.
He famously featured in the first ever series of Love Island in 2005 and has since gone on to star in other reality shows, including a stint in Celebrity Big Brother last year.

More recently ladies’ man Paul has been rumoured to be lined up for the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
Paul’s currently starring in the hit play Worth a Flutter alongside lads mag favourite Lucy Pinder.

He said he hopes ‘Oaks bosses have been on a scouting mission to check out his performance.

"I think the producers just want to see me do a bit of acting. I'm going to start to build the credits up and they'll hopefully think, 'Oh, yeah, let's get him back on.'"
He added: "I hope Hollyoaks will have a spy in the audience when I'm doing Worth a Flutter."
