The Kooks are a British pop rock band from Brighton.
They formed in 2004 with frontman Luke Pritchard, bassist Max Rafferty, drummer Paul Garred and lead guitarist Hugh Harris.
Dan left the band in 2008 and was temporarily replaced by Dan Logan before Peter Denton became the new permanent bassist in October of that year.
Paul resigned from the band in 2011 due to nerve problems in his arm and was replaced on drums by Alexis Nunez.
They released four studio albums Inside In/Inside Out (2006), Konk (2008), Junk Of The Heart (2011) and Listen (2014).
In 2018 they went on tour with their Best Of...So Far LP which includes the new singles Be Who You Are and Broken Vow.

Who is The Kooks lead singer Luke Pritchard?
Luke Pritchard, 33, is from Worthing.
He met The Kooks bandmates Paul and Hugh at BRIT School in Croydon.
They later teamed up with Max Rafferty when they moved to Brighton to study at BIMM (British Institute of Modern Music).
He has previously dated Katie Melua (2002-2005) and Mischa Barton (2008-2009).
In 2010 it was reported that he'd had a fling with Mick Jagger's daughter Georgia May Jagger.
Who is Luke Pritchard engaged to?
The frontman announced his engagement to singer Ellie Rose with a post on Instagram.
Ellie, 23, also shared an image on social media with the caption: 'If a weirdo like me can find love - there’s hope for everyone.'
The couple are believed to have started dating at the beginning of 2018 after meeting through friends.
Prior to the engagement a source told Bizarre: "Luke is the happiest he's been in a long time since he got together with Ellie. They got introduced by mutual friends in the music world and haven't looked back since.
"Luke has been really keen to get Ellie's career off the ground and has been helping her work on her new single."
