When were the MTV Movie and TV Awards 2018?
The MTV Movie and TV Awards 2018 was held Monday, June 18 and was broadcast on MTV.
The 27th ceremony took place at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
Top of the nominations list was the movie Blank Panther and 80s sci-fi series Stranger Things.
Chris Pratt also received the Generation Award which recognises outstanding achievement in entertainment.
Performers on the night included acts such as Mustard, Nick Jonas and Chloe x Halle.
Among the celebrity presenters were Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, Seth Rogen, Michael B. Jordan and Zendaya.

Who was honoured with the Trailblazer Award in 2018?
On May 22, 2018, it was revealed that Lena Waithe, who made history as the first woman of colour to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for her work on Master of None, will be honoured with the Trailblazer Award at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
The award recognises game-changing creators with fresh and fearless voices in entertainment.
Amy Doyle, General Manager of MTV, VH1 and Logo said: “Lena is shaking up Hollywood and breaking cultural boundaries through her innovative and authentic storytelling.
“Her unwavering passion for equality and inclusion make her the perfect recipient for this year’s Trailblazer Award.”

Who hosted the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2018?
The MTV Music & TV Awards 2018 was hosted by US comedian Tiffany Haddish.
She was also nominated and won an award for Best Comedic Performance in the movie Girls Trip.
Tiffany rose to fame as Jackie in the Oprah Winfrey Network TV drama If Loving You Is Wrong from 2014-2015.
In 2018 she was included in TIME's list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
