The stars of the film were joined by some of the top names in the fashion world at tonight's glittering premiere
EMILIA Clarke and Thandie Newton held their own against a host of stunning supermodels at the Solo: A Star Wars Story premiere in Cannes today.
The two actresses star in the new film - which is an origin story about the character made famous by Harrison Ford in the original Star Wars trilogy - alongside Alden Ehrenreich.
Emilia, 31, plays Qi'ra in the movie, and looked beautiful in a purple tulle gown.
The Game of Thrones star beamed as she posed for pictures in front of the paparazzi, before being joined by her co-stars and the film's director, Ron Howard.
Emilia looked like she was having a fabulous time in the French town, laughing as she stood at the top of the stairs with her fellow actors before heading inside.
Meanwhile Thandie, who plays a character called Val in the flick, wore a colourful dress which featured prints of Star Wars characters.
With her hair styled up in a curly quiff, the 45-year-old added bold eye makeup to complete her look.
The cast were surrounded on the red carpet by some of the biggest names in the fashion industry including Alessandra Ambrosio and Sara Sampaio.
Brazilian beauty Allesandra, 37, wore a black glimmering dress which featured a plunging neckline and a sheer skirt and train.
Meanwhile Sara, 26, stood out in a white feathered dress which also had a thigh high split.
Another supermodel flashing her endlessly long legs was Leonardo DiCaprio's ex-girlfriend Toni Garrn, who wore a silver beaded gown.
However Izabel Goulart, 33, opted to showcase her toned tummy in a black choker style top with cut out detailing and a matching sheer skirt.
Australian model Shanina Shaik added a splash of colour in a mustard yellow gown, while Doutzen Kroes opted for a black tuxedo suit.
But it was Winnie Harlow who wore one of the most eye catching looks of the night in a dramatic silver gown which featured a long train.
The 23-year-old had an assistant on hand to fan out the shining material behind her, as she struck a series of poses for the cameras.
As well as the fashion elite, a number of Hollywood stars also attended the premiere, including John Travolta, who was accompanied by his wife Kelly Preston and their children Ella Bleu and Benjamin.
Fast and Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez also hit the red carpet, and at one point held her own boob as she lifted her other arm to wave at fans as she headed into the venue.
Rapper and actor 50 Cent looked dapper in his midnight blue tuxedo, while The Night Manager's Elizabeth Debicki wore a black floral dress as she posed with Taylor Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is released in the UK on May 25.
