What did Sheri do in 13 Reasons Why, how was she involved in Jeff’s death and why did she go to juvie?
13 REASONS Why is back for a second season and deals with the aftermath of Hannah Baker's suicide tapes.
But do you remember what Sheri did? And was she ever punished? Here's what we know...
What did Sheri do in 13 Reasons Why? Did she kill Jeff?
Sheri appears on Tape 9, when she befriends Hannah (Katherine Langford).
Even though Sheri is popular and a cheerleader, she is still, underneath it all, a good person.
After Hannah witnesses Bryce raping Jessica, she flees the party and Sheri offers her a lift home.
During that ride, however, Sheri becomes distracted and her car hits a stop sign at an intersection, knocking it over.
Scared that she may get in trouble, Sheri decides to flee the scene, leaving Hannah, who believes they should call the police, behind.
Hannah leaves the scene of the accident to find a phone to call the police, and while gone, Jeff (Brandon Larracuente) is killed in a fatal car collision at the intersection - because the stop sign wasn't there.
Subsequently, Hannah tries to convince Sheri that the two of them should tell the cops what happened. But Sheri is still too scared.
Will Sheri face a trail for what she did?
Towards the end of season one we see Sheri trying to make amends for the crash that killed Jeff by helping the older gentleman who was injured, though not killed, in the accident.
Sheri is the last seen towards the end of the series calling the police to report her role in the accident that claimed Jeff's life.
Season two picks up on her punishment and alludes to the time she spent in a juvenile detention facility.
