MICHAEL Buerk is a familiar face on British TV thanks to his long career as a newsreader.
But how did his career start? And what is he up to now? Here's everything we know...
Who is Michael Buerk and what TV show has he been on?
Michael, 72, was born on February 18, 1946, and is an English journalist and newsreader.
He began his career in journalism with the Bromsgrove Messenger, South Wales Echo, and the Daily Mail.
Michael joined Radio Bristol in 1970 before becoming a reporter for BBC News in 1973.
From 1983 to 1987, he was the BBC's South Africa correspondent during the last years of apartheid in South Africa.
Michael is best known for anchoring the BBC Nine O'Clock News and BBC News at Ten.
In 2014, he appeared on I'm a Celebrity.
Since then he has been on Countdown, When Television Goes Horribly Wrong, Dispatches and Royal Recipes.
More recently, he has been appearing on Richard Osman's House of Games.
When is Michael on Royal Recipes? What is it about?
Michael and chefs Anna Haugh and Paul Ainsworth mark the forthcoming wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a special series of Royal Recipes.
As well as recreating royal wedding dishes past and present, the chefs go behind the scenes at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in the run-up to the big day.
The programme explores the history of royal courtship and marriage, and Michael hears from experts who help to put the finishing touches to a royal wedding.
Royal Recipes is running from May 14 to May 18, 2018, at 3.45pm.

When is Britain by Boat on Channel 5?
Britain by Boat is a new series that kicked off on Channel 5 on November 23 at 8pm on Channel 5.
It is comprised of four hour-long episodes and continues TONIGHT (Friday, November 30) at 8pm.
The programme will see John Sergeant and Michael Buerk set sail on the 50ft yacht Bonaventure.
The challenges they face include eating oysters gracefully and navigating the busy Thames estuary.
