MARCEL Somerville has tried to win back his ex-girlfriend Gabby Allen after he bedded another woman behind her back.
The Love Island star says he regrets his mistake - and admitted he still "loves and misses her".
Speaking on the red carpet before Love Island scooped a Bafta for Reality and Constructed Factual, Marcel told The Sun Online: "I made a mistake and I regret it, but everyone makes mistakes.
"It's just tough because I lost Gabs and I love her.
"It's my own fault so I can't really do anything about it.
"I've tried to win her back, but she's going to be feeling embarrassed, it's embarrassed me. It was a silly thing, but it's ruined what we had."
The Blazin' Squad singer has tried to get back in touch with his summer love Gabby after she ended their nine-month relationship.
Incriminating messages revealed to The Sun last month showed Marcel tried to meet up with a fling for "day sex" while Gabby was in the hotel gym.
They had gone away for a romantic break to Mexico's Temptation resort in February when he cheated.
He said: "I'm shocked as well. It's one of those situations, sometimes in relationships even though you'll be having all these great moments, there are times when things can hit the rocks and things aren't going as smoothly as you'd like them to be."
"It was at one of those rocky points where whatever happened, happened."
But Marcel says his Love Island lads have been supporting him through his bitter split.
He added: "I've had a lot of messages from the boys being supportive saying everyone makes mistakes, keep your head up bruv' don't worry about it.
"It's a crazy time, but I've just got to focus on myself and get through it.
"You regret things in life, but you've just got to move on."
He's now turning his attention to the latest series of Love Island in a few weeks' time.

Marcel said: "I was the big name last year so they're going to want to put someone in there to make people go 'wait a minute'.
"I will be watching. It's very cringey to watch yourself back.
"I'm going to have to watch it on the go because I'm really busy at the moment."
