Ferne McCann ‘in talks for movie role’ after impressing film producer with her ‘acting skills’

FERNE McCann is being lined up with a Hollywood movie role, according to new reports.

The 27-year-old, who found fame in Towie, is said to have seriously impressed a film producer after meeting them in Cannes a few years ago.

Now the annual Film Festival is over, Ferne is now said to be meeting with them to discuss a possible acting role in the states.

A source told : “She met a producer who was really impressed with her acting skills.
“They have kept in touch and Ferne is meeting with him in London this week.”

The insider said Ferne – who has a baby daughter Sunday with convicted acid attacker Arthur Collins – couldn’t be more excited about the prospect of going to Los Angeles to work.

Ferne took a break from TV while pregnant with her daughter but is now back with a second series of her ITVBE show First Time Mum.

The candid series gives a no-holds-barred account of Ferne’s experience of a single mum after Collins was jailed.

In the last episode, Ferne admitted she was struggling with the sleepless nights.

She told her pal James “Arg” Argent: “I was up all night last night...

“I am knackered I'm like a walking zombie - even the simplest things are like a mission.”

The latest onscreen drama came after Ferne appeared to take a dig at Sam Faiers as her show returned to TV earlier this month.

She said “you really find out who your friends are” after having a child.

The comment appeared to refer to her fallout with her former Towie co-star.

Speaking about how much her life had changed, after enjoying a glass of wine with Danielle Armstrong, Ferne said: “After this year you really find out who your friends are.”
