Danniella Westbrook leaves police station after being released from hospital in the early hours of the morning
DANNIELLA Westbrook has been spotted leaving a police station after being admitted to hospital in the early hours of this morning.
The former EastEnders actress, 44, was seen walking out of Hatfield Police Station in Hertfordshire after attending a bail hearing while sporting big white plasters on her left wrist and forearm.
The star wore a serious expression as she made her exit while clutching paperwork, a pink hoodie, and snacks.
However, Danniella - dressed in a matching grey sweater, three-quarter length jogging bottoms and baseball cap - appeared to be feeling positive in a post shared on Twitter later in the day.
The mum-of-two wrote: "So hospital last night and answered bail this morning ... And at last good news and the truth prevails ... Told ya didn't I "
It is unclear why she attended hospital but she is believed to have been released in the early hours of Sunday.
Last night her fans rushed to check on her after Danniella cryptically tweeted: "Good bye".
Yesterday Danniella was in good spirits as she smiled while posing for photographs at a charity football match in Bishop's Stortford.
She was seen chatting to former EastEnders co-star Dean Gaffney as they watched from the sidelines alongside other celebrities, including Danny Dyer and Sandra Martin.
It comes just days after Danniella was spotted sunbathing topless on a beach in Spain having been arrested for a second time in a matter of weeks.
The star wasn't short of confidence while on holiday in Marbella as she whipped off her bikini top and basked in the rays.
She was snapped engrossed in a book, Darkest Hour: How Churchill Brought England Back From The Brink, as she topped up her tan.
Danniella could have been looking to the former Prime Minister for some advice on turning her life around, after she was arrested for a second time.
Before jetting out to Spain, she appeared to be in a good mood and told her fans in a social media video: “I’m off to Spain! Hope I don’t get arrested.”
However, her optimism was short-lived as just seven days later she was being led away in handcuffs by cops.
The star was left shaken upset when she was stopped from boarding a plane back to the UK.
She was released on bail after a 12-hour interrogation and was sent home in a standard grey police tracksuit.
The star is accused of taking £10,000 from a former friend whose business she “tried to destroy on social media”.
It is claimed she was asked to voluntarily turn herself in for questioning back in January but she apparently ignored four requests to do so.

An insider exclusively told The Sun Online: “It is suspected that Danniella has taken £10,000 from this woman who she was once friends with.
“It is alleged that Danniella refused to pay the money back and then things turned nasty.
“This woman had considered her a friend and had really helped her out in the past, and paid for a lot of things for her.”
